ACCEPTED!

Well, as the last post says – my life is repeating itself.  But in a good way!  I have [again] been accepted at the University of Toledo for medical school, and this time I am not turning them down!!!  Of course, I still have to hear back from two schools, but at least now I have secured a spot in the class of 2014!

Thanks to everyone who has listened to me worry, who has been there when I cried, and who has given me so much support over the last year.  It has been one crazy ride (to Ethiopia and back again) but in the end, I finally have the opportunity to become a physician.  Although my period of service is not yet complete, I have already been given many confirmations that I made the right choice this past summer.

I would like to end this post with the One Planet International School pledge because every morning when I say it with my students, I feel inspired and confident.
